This is a view of a small creek feeding into the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River in Olallie State Park near North Bend, Washington. We are peering through the rail on a surviving bridge from the old I-90 Freeway. It is late November and even the moss on the bridge is turning color.
In the late 1970’s the freeway was modernized and this old bridge became a backroad. The bridge is date marked 1953. That makes the frame of my picture 58 years old!
