Born and raised in the logging town of Snoqualmie, Washington (the logging days in Snoqualmie are mostly in the past now). I currently reside in Issaquah, Washington. My Canon Rebel 450D was a Christmas gift that has kept on giving me hours and hours of pleasure. I recently aquired a Canon 5D Mark II and I am now learning to use this awesome instument. I hope you enjoy these pictures half as much as I enjoyed capturing them!

WOnderful work and great title Dale. Fantasic perspective with the dried cornstalks in the foreground. Excellent composition. :)

  • Every once in a while I guess I just luck out. It was windy and I was annoyed by it. Later I realized it was a kind of neat effect. Thank you for the ecouraging comments, it is really appreciated :-)

Like this shot a lot … positioning of corn stalks also really helps make it

  • Thanks Bruce! It was so windy I almost bagged the corn, but I couldn’t figure what else to use in the foreground! I appreciate your taking the time to visit!

Lovely, I’ll have to go wandering around Mt. Vernon more often. Looks like the countryside is lovely there.
