Sitting in the apartment
Looking out the window
Late at night
Listening for the sairens
that passes by
While others sleep at night
Cozy in their beds
I wait for the sairens

Every night, when I used to live in Yonkers, I would here sirens pass by and turn the corner to a old folks home….so yeah I got used to it but it drove my parents crazy…lol I miss that the most in Yonkers…I know longer live there….but will be going back for the Summer =]
