VooDoo Child

2004 Digital Painting
August

“Fine! If you don’t wanna play wif me,
i’ll just go and play wif my voodoo dolls.”

An idea which came from an online conversation with a friend, ages ago. A dejected kid, left with no one else to play with, crawls into the hallway closet and starts taking his anger out on voodoo dolls – which he has sewn up. Children should never be left up to their own devices.

Used an old picture of me as a kid as a base/ref image.
