When I am not doing freelance writing for Everything West magazine here in Knoxville, I am usually out taking pictures, working on a DVD slideshow, picture book or other writing gigs.
It was on a recent story for Everything West that I stumbled upon redbubble.com. It’s a very cool site as you’ll find. Here, you can purchase cards or prints that feature pictures that I have taken (or in some cases, collected).
Portions of the proceeds from the sale of anything on this website will go to two organizations.
Amor en Accion is a wonderful group. Situated in La Paz, Bolivia, they go out onto the city streets and administer medical attention to people who cannot afford it. I’ve seen them in action in La Paz. In the face of some of the most brutal things you can imagine, these people go in the cold, in the heat, rain or shine and do extraordinary things on a regular basis.
The second is for Knox Area Rescue Ministries and all the good work they do for the people and city of Knoxville.
