Ed Zabel is a master photographer with over thirty years experience creating images that sell, relate an idea, or represent a person or product in the best possible light.
Mr. Zabel’s past area of expertise has been in the home furnishings industry. An industry that requires the highest level of technical skill photographically, as well as the most demanding design skill.
Despite his career of working with primarily inanimate objects for commerce, Ed has always had a great passion for photographing people. Building a library of portrait styled images inspired by the great masters such as Richard Avedon, Irving Penn and Helmut Newton.

In the past year Ed has indulged in his long desired passion for painting. Working primarily with acrylics on large sized canvas using strong yet minimal colors to reproduce his portrait works. These works are aesthetically powerful, contemporary and at the same time intimate.
“ My paint is fun for me, It’s intended to be fun for anyone, I can’t stop making them now. My muse has given me a brush.“
