Today, between my husband and myself, we lost about 4 lures, a bobber and a good length of fishing line. I did, however, catch this fellow when I was waiting for my hubby to wiggle my line and lure free from some underwater obstacle or other. I have often heard frogs, but never found one sitting still within shooting distance, so I’m genuinely excited by this frog. Taken at the lake at Middle Creek WMA, June 1, 2010.

Hello…I’m Yvonne. I’m a graphic designer who discovered a love for photography when my hubby gave me a point-and-shoot back in 2003. Several cameras and lenses later, I’m now using a Nikon D300. I have been showing my work locally (Lebanon, PA) and am always looking for new exhibition opportunities. I hope you enjoy my work. Please feel free to leave comments. I also love hearing about photo-op hidden treasures in the Central PA area.

The great part about fishing is that even if you didn’t catch a thing, you can always find a good picture. This one is fabulous.

  • He was sitting so still, I was pretty pleased with myself for even noticing him! I’ve always wanted to see an actual life frog in his surroundings like this. :-)

He practically blends into his surroundings…..great find and capture!

  • Thanks, Susan! He really did “blend,” I had a heck of a time pulling him out in Lightroom.
