mixed media – ink background, charcoal drawing with pastel highlights.

enjoy making direct work from natural materials in my prairie and wildlife sanctuary.
i am a very restless person and I work in many different ways with a variety of media.

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.

What a way to start my Monday morning , a fabulous gaze to your mixed media self portrait dear Yvonca , I so Love the attention to detail in the neck to shoulder , stunning eyes and a beautifully chosen palette … simply captivating art.. Paulxx

  • smiling smiling here. now it’s MY Monday morning and I am reading your comment. Tis a great way to start. Thanks for this dear Paul! I was doing some tight stuff and I needed attack a quick energetic piece. I only wanted to whip something out and I was very indecisve about paper. I had a certain type and color in mind but could ot find it in my drawers. I came across a stack of land art duds, (sort of unfinished experiments) that I set aside to explore on and grabbed one off the top and drew. I love that we can work in a variety ways that fit the moment. :))) Appreciate your mind and heart. x
