i am a very restless person and I work in many different ways with a variety of media.

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.

Wonderful! Love the effects you’re achieving. Beautiful

  • Thanks for the kind words Phil. Means a lot coming from an artist like you, you so good with figure drawing yourself. The effects are always a surprise. I looked at it on the ground and thought, doesn’t look like it working. :))

Yvonca – this is – just wonderful – it is translucent – like echted glass beautiful texture – wish I could see it live really beautiful work you should be proud

  • I think it is the way the gesso repells the ink and my subtracted scrubbing is loose and irregular. I really appreciate your comment Karen. Yea always nice to view the work live. :))

    She sat covering her flesh
With the dust of the earth
    ancestors Their ghosts
    Entered her thoughts
    A deep moaning drone
    Echoed within
    She offered husks of corn
    To the Indian woman
    That lived here once
    To the moon a prayer
    To the fox a bone
    To the buffalo a sanctury
To the bird a crumb of shelter
And to the earth she offered
Permission to grow and be wild
    As nature had intended
    In spiral shapes she weaves
    An ancient path of honouring
    Mother earth tucking new life
    Into her prairie bed
An letting it speak the truth
Of who it is she is sick of lies

  • I love this Tim. you add such meaningful depth to these images . . . . it’s like you complete them.
The details are fantastic and so fitting crumb of shelter OH that’s perfect.. The way you have concluded it . . . how to say? it’s like the last words reverberate and then the quiet afterwards is thunderous. if that means sense. What is another word for thank you . . .? i don’t know. . . but I do . . thank you . . so dearly.
