Paper collage made from image of a dream.
Pregnancy can be difficult, even more complicated for diabetics. To be thrilled and terrified at the same time is a body chemistry rush. I think a mother’s instinct of protection is a truly fierce entity.

a variety of chinese papers used with canson paper on the body.

enjoy making direct work from natural materials in my prairie and wildlife sanctuary.
i am a very restless person and I work in many different ways with a variety of media.

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.

Loving this Y. Have to say the hand gesture across the mouth says it all for me. I love the antlers, full moon and pregnancy(?).

Never know is right!!! Hope school is going well for you. My classes are the equivalent of a car with three flat tires trying to go 35 miles an hour. But it could be worse…

  • School is good- got lucky with great bunch of characters. Your analogy cracks me up, but also been there and know that’s a challenge. bmail me details. :))

    I like the cham char
the goat legs is what I mean
    lends to
    the devils influance
illness at the best of times brings us down
    when anothers life is threatened
    it is more overwhelming
    I really like this
the subdued colours of passion used
and the frivolity of the hand jesters
    the moon
    lending to the altering mood
    Excellant execution
    blessings to you

  • thank you B- always appreciate your wonderful comments.

WoW. This is really dynamic. I feel like this is bringing the primal nature out, through the pregnant being. It’s far to easy to generalize pregnancy and childbirth as this swoon of happiness, but I forget the scariness that must come with all the drastic change of body and the coming life as well. Really good.

  • Thank you Ken, for the great and insightful comment. Yeah it was a roller coaster ride that didn’t end well. An amazing part of life for sure. I appreciate your comments. :)

The legendary realm of Dis is the place of shadow and reflection. Our word dis-ability doesn’t mean not-ability, but ability bought through reflection on shadow self. Did fawn survive?

  • if you mean me as fawn . . . yes with scars. if you mean baby fawn . . no. no fawn. tough one. x.
