Hat Therapy? by evon ski

On a down day, I had tired of crying about something. I wondered if a silly or outrageous hat might affect my state of mind. So this was an experiment. Kinda turned into a young “wishful thinking” sort of portrait. :)) This one was drawn after I had done the “Scratchy?” drawing wearing the same hat.
Can a hat change your state of mind?

20 × 24″ charcoal on drawing paper.

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.

    in my opinion yes

  • yes- me thinks so too . now. but I wouldn’t have thought so. maybe it’s in the making of the drawing- not just the wearing of the hat.

many things can change states of minds, it just depends what you think of them..:))

  • that’s true. always looks different though when you’re down in the hole. :)
    Thanks for your comment Sorina.

hats r us.! yeah, they can change you… i become invisible under certain hats… which is why i keep them for years!

  • ha haa I love that comment Anthony. I always wondered why I only wear certain hats at certain times. sometimes a veil over glory. :))
