I always have a collection of treasures in my studio.
Leaves, branches, grasses, seeds and pods are in boxes, and often arranged on plates. Ready for inspiration. I took a picture of this group because it struck me as so beautiful. I layered a wood grain pattern that I recently drew from a slice of an old willow tree. Some of my favorite pieces and colors here. :)
Photoshop post processing.

enjoy making direct work from natural materials in my prairie and wildlife sanctuary.
i am a very restless person and I work in many different ways with a variety of media.

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.

Great colours and structure! This little bit wild – and on the other hand softness – makes the attraction!

  • Thanks for the cool comment and observation Yvonne! :)
