Information Overload Laxative by

Sometimes, when I’m too busy, I get behind in processing information. Mental constipation. very uncomfortable. I like to move around and talk out loud as I draw and write quickly. It’s a good way of shaking out my head so I can process better. Especially when I feel pressure to make some decisions, but nagging thoughts are stuck underneath consciousness. Ear protectors useful to drown out distractions. Clearing the table is a metaphor for clearing my mind. Whatever works, right?

wacko, information overload

i am a very restless person and I work in many different ways with a variety of media.

One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.

    Hilarious . . . . . but might give it a go . . . . like the idea of taping the paper to the table . . . . . where do you get such incredible square ear defenders? . . . . look a bit ex-russian military, though not khaki/grey . . . . little dial on side (70’s portable radio?)

I think they were used at an airport by a guy that loaded planes. The little dial is just a hinge for swiveling. I’m so ADD- I can’t edit out noise, movement, light, smells or energy. The ear protectors obviously only edit sound. Glad you got a charge out of this. :)

  • oh, I just looked at the photo- I can’t find that pair now. I have three different sets. I don’t think it had a radio but now I’ll have to find them and check. Seriously-I need a bobcat to clean this room.
