This is amazing yvonca! I was reading this morning in Psalm 144:1-2 “Bless the Lord, who is my rock. He gives me strength for war and skill for battle. He is my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my deliverer. He stands before me as a shield and I take refuge in Him.” Perhaps that verse was not just for me but for you as well. As I was meditating on this I thought also of the shield of faith and the armor of God.
Such a beautiful work you have done here, so much wonderful detail and just like the shield is larger than you in the piece, so is God bigger than us and anything we could ever go through. Bless you and remember the battle belongs to the Lord! I forget this too and you and your beautiful piece reminded me of all of this! You also have a very determined look on your face so stand strong in the Lord!
Man that verse really hit the spot! Thank you so much-yes it WAS also for me. Good Word!
Terrific! It’s easy to forget about our armor!
Yes it is easy to forget. Thank you.

I seem to have also captured something else-can’t quite put my finger on. Thank you for your kind encouraging words!

Thanks- the actual shield was a broken Halloween toy that I picked up at Target-half off. But it worked for this purpose and it is a protective stance for sure.
