Every Spring Trumpeter and Tundra Swans congregate in shallow area of the Southern Lakes region of the Yukon on their way to breeding grounds further North. As the lakes break up the shallow areas are great sources of food for these migrating birds and one of these is “tail up” looking for food. They are usually found in breeding pairs

Played with photography since early High School. Since moving to the Yukon in 1997 I have become much more involved and am now comfortable in Photoshop although there is always more to learn. The Yukon is a great canvas and would recommend it for most everyone’s Bucket List
