Conwy Harbour and Castle by Yukondick

Conwy Castle and the town walls were built, on the instruction of Edward I of England, between 1283 and 1289, as part of his conquest of the principality of Wales. English settlers were given incentives to move to the walled garrison town, which for decades the Welsh were forbidden from entering.

Played with photography since early High School. Since moving to the Yukon in 1997 I have become much more involved and am now comfortable in Photoshop although there is always more to learn. The Yukon is a great canvas and would recommend it for most everyone’s Bucket List

Not too far away from my home, just carry on forward about 5 miles. Superb shot.

  • thanks. We spent far too little time in Wales. It is a gorgeous part of our world. This is actually a couple of shots stitched together
