CHATELHERAULT HUNTING LODGE Near Hamiton South Lanarkshire Soctland. Chatelherault is in fact a magnificent hunting lodge designed and built between the years 1732 and 1744 by celebrated architect William Adam (1689-1748) for the 5th Duke of Hamilton who also held the French title “Duc de Châtelherault”.
