Lovely work Yook. How often do you see these guys?

  • Lately “touch wood” I’ve been finding at least 2 every dive. Am learning there hangouts and the best spots to look.
Thru I.D i’ve encountered 4 residents so far, but may be more.
I’m trying to put Tumby bay on the map as a great spot for diver’s.
At the local jetty so far I’ve seen blue ring occy’s, crays, leafys, stingrays, kingfish, stripped dumping squid and so many other great subjects.
Glad you like it, its one of my fav’s.
I work 2 weeks on 2 off, so I dive when I can.
Took this one 3 weeks ago, bit chilly at 10’c. but nice and clear.

Tumby bay is on my map now. I worked in Lincoln for a few months whilst i was studying but never made it to Tumby bay. I would love to nail a shot of a pyjama squid and a LSD. Nice one

  • Feel free to give me a buzz if you’re over this way.

You were right Yook, Awesome shot. Another i may have to add to my collection at some stage. Im amazed by the colours your getting… Imagine how many people have peered into the water from that jetty and had no idea what was down there!

  • Thankyou for all your comments. they are very much apreciated.
The ‘Leafy sea dragon’ (yep thats its real name) is thankfully a protected species here now and is the marine emblem for South Australia.
