Water under the bridge

An old railway bridge in Edinburgh. The footpath under the bridge has been flooded due to heavy rain. The logs are intended to allow people to carefully traverse the flood dryshod. The photograph was taken at the beginning of July 2007.

    What a great find. Like the logs idea. The reflection adds so much.

    Actually, the logs didn’t work very well! I took the photograph (took multiple photos, this was the best) and then set foot on one of them… but they rolled underfoot.

    Water, wood, stone, sky…nearly all nature elements there…very sweet picture, simple, but worse millions, straight into my favorits…
