My interest in photography began in January 2010 when I stumbled across an Australian Black Swan, at my local park, helping her first cygnet to hatch. I was so excited with my find that I decided right then and their that I would document the cygnets progress.
At the time I only had a little point and shoot camera but was determined to capture the best possible images that I could. I became very busy immersing myself in everything to do with photography. I was hooked! Obsessed!
Since then I have upgraded to a Canon EOS 50D and with the help of many wonderful and very experienced photographers continue to learn and enjoy both the production and post production processes.
My main interests are in wildlife, landscape, macro and abstract photography but I am really looking forward to learning and improving my skills in all areas.
Capturing those everyday moments that are otherwise missed or forgotten is what drives me on to capturing that next best shot. A truly wonderful hobby and way of life that ensures contentment and appreciation for all I have.
