The character of Maqroll El Gaviero, in the book of the same name by Colombian writer Alvaro Mutis succinctly sums up my life: “There is no cure for my reckless wandering, forever misguided and destructive, forever alien to my true vocation”.
I am a nomad, currently anchored in Melbourne, Australia. When I can throw off the shackles of office work I like to spend time in Latin America. Mexico is my country of choice. It’s rich culture, history, music and literature has me enthralled and addicted and always wanting for more.
