wow wonderful detail, shadows and light…looks great even if not finished Kate ..
I am so sorry to be so late with this. Thank you so much for that generous comment Linda. I am a notorious procrastinator at finishing things sometime. I just decided this one was FINISHED. :)

beautiful sketch…this is perfect the way it is…you have a lovely talent…. :)
Excellent work,….really very good,..
Splendid portrait, Kate. Wonderful light and shadow and such a natural and warm expression. I love the way you have left the hand as just a contour in contrast with the amazing detail of the face. Very skillfully rendered, my friend, but I would expect nothing less.
Ohhhhh what a beautiful comment from my beautiful friend! Thank you for your lovely words of praise. You are always so kind and such a loyal supporter, and I appreciate it bunches! Katey x

Thank you Mel! Thanks for taking a look. Your comments are so kind and appreciated.
Bev beat me to the comment Kate, if the unfinished part is in the hand, don’t finish it. Love that contrast.
Hello Jim! I sort of felt the same way about the hand, so it was a good excuse for not finishing it. Always love to hear your insights about my work.
