Just wanted to do something fun and whimsical. The basic ink drawing was of the dinosaur alone…..with peaches and basket. The state where I live….Georgia…. USA… is called " The Peach State " , therefore the fruit :-)))

Ink drawing done on smooth drawing paper.

Hand water colored with digital touches. The background is a simple digital line drawing with fills.

This is just way too cute & so very well done, Kate. You should add it to a group called “Art and Stories Made For Children” ….they’s love it!

  • How sweet you are Marsha. Thank you! I am so glad you like my little dragon dinosaur. And thank you for suggesting the group for children. I went directly and joined.

Charming and captivating art, Kate. I lived in Georgia for 14 years the peaches I know but I didn’t recall a dragon? It must be something new the govenor installed!

  • Yeah, You know how those governors are. You just never know what a politician is going to do. Why they pass laws behind closed doors now. I AM ANNOUNCING that the DRAGON is the new Georgia mascot. Pass the word! Thank goodness we have plenty of peaches for him to eat. :O

Adorable drawing! Congrats on your feature! Perfect for the “peach state!”

  • Hello Angie. How nice of you to say…and thanks for the congrats. I just noticed where you live….THE Gettysburg? What a wonderful historic place to live. I have been to a LOT of places in the US but that is one place I have never gotten to see. Maybe some day. :))
