I have a great love for the sailing vessel. I am fairly detailed in most of my work, so the rigging on ships…..especially those of old…….is quite fascinating and a challenge to paint.

Hello Colin! I always love your thoughtful critiques, and appreciate them very much. The first upload was a digital capture with my old outdated camera ( which needs to be in a museum ). This upload is an almost perfect match. Scanning almost always gets it right, but I can’t do that with my larger pieces. Will have to get a new 8 or more megapixel camera. Always look forward to your comments Colin.

A lovely romantic study Kate. I used to build models like these in my youth so they particularly apeal.
