Old New England Dock by Kate Eller

Currently unavailable for purchase

Acrylic used like watercolor on rough watercolor paper. This was done so long ago, I don’t remember the brand of paper, but it is quite heavy. I think I must have used Grumbacher brand acrylics, since that was about the best and only brand around at the time.

acrylic, sea, boats, water, fishing, harbor, dock, seascape, nautical

Beautiful work Miss Kate! I just found it featuring in the Realist Paintings about water group and I haven’t seen this one before! I love the colours and the water is incredible.

  • Oh how sweet you are to say that my dear Lyndy…..and the water comment goes a really long way for me coming from you. I think your water and reflection technique is the very best. Thank you and many hugs.

  • Such a lovely comment Marsha….thank you. I love the New England scenery….especially coastal…..and never even been there! These were done from a friend’s photos……another small painting for cards.
