    acrylic can make such a result. this is very interesting for me. wash and dry. I want to try someday. wonderful work as usual kate.

    Hello Hidemi! Are you all settled in your new place? Yes, I used to do a lot of this with acrylics. It can be used in a watercolory way, but it’s just not as soluble as watercolor, so you have to move a little faster. Thanks for your kind comment.

    Thanks as always Jim. Yes, I like to experiment with different mediums. I did several of these little “coastal scenes” paintings with this technique some years ago.
