Yes a very powerfull image, I love the colours. It has lot of emotion to it too!!

You have a remarkable control over light in all your images, this one in particular. The power and the drama of the hands and prayer beads caught and held my attention before dragging me into the intense emotion that they hold. Then my eyes wandered and took in the details; the braided hair that holds a cotton thread, the simple clothes with the red thread outline, the hard worked fingernails… It all goes together to create a very strong and emotional image. Thank you.

This is a wonderful !!! photo but I don’t think the title is right. Maybe something along the lines of prayer or grief… ponder is more what you do when you’re bored or daydreaming to me… Just an idea… Excellent photo. :) Ellen
