My name is Yia Alias, I am a collage artist and creator of sacred art installations.
I worked as a professional display artist for over 25 years.
In the late 80’s I became interested in Jungian Psychology, which triggered an inner recognition of the archetypes, which then inspired sacred art installations and Goddess Work.

I am currently facilitating a women’s group called the Hestia Heart Flowers and also creator of a women’s eight week course called Journey with the Seven Greek Goddesses. Through my work I help empower women to access their true calling.
With the world as it at the moment I believe that women can create positive changes for a more harmonious future. I design rites of passage ceremony’s to celebrate the milestones in a woman’s life: Menarche, Baby Blessing, Menopause, and Crone.
Through ceremony, art, movement, and sharing of knowledge, I help women make informed choices. From things such as Biodynamic & Organic produce to understanding the Menstrual Cycle, Positive Parenting, Self Acceptance, Community Awareness and Spirituality.
In this way I feel I can be socially and politically active.

The artworks displayed here are an example of some of my current work.
I create sacred art installations on commision.
