The Plethora of Patriots Parade

by George A. Yesthal 1/26/2006

Many of us are talking of our frustrations. We’re up in arms and we’re screaming that something need be done but there seem to be no ideas where to start. Many of us are writing daily and trying to spread awareness but so far there seem to be few actual plans. I know what worked for us in the sixties and recently for the Occupy movement. Something that can’t fail to get media attention…PROTEST.

I propose that something like the Million Man March called the Plethora of Patriots Parade, be planned to Washington D.C in which the participants make a show of defiance to The Capital Hill infestation’s disregard for law and the will of the people.

Since the only way to truly take power away from the current usurping elite is to ignore it away, the base line purpose of this movement should be to ignite the flame of unity and solidarity of the millions of dissatisfied and disgruntled patriotic citizens of Libertarian, anarchist/voluntarist mind-set. Most of these people already know that the only way to cure the infection choking the country today is to deny it existence, power, form and function.

Think of the extent of extortion leveled against us in taxes alone:
Accounts Receivable Tax,
 Building Permit Tax,
 Capital Gains Tax,
 CDL license Tax,
 Cigarette Tax,
 Corporate Income Tax,
 Court Fines (indirect taxes),
Dog License Tax,
Federal Income, Tax
Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA),
Fishing License Tax, Food License Tax,
 Fuel permit tax,
Gasoline Tax (42 cents per gallon),
Hunting License Tax,
Inheritance Tax, Interest expense (tax on the money),
Inventory tax, IRS Interest Charges (tax on top of tax),
IRS Penalties (tax on top of tax),
Liquor Tax,
 Local Income Tax,
 Luxury Taxes,
 Marriage License Tax,
 Medicare Tax,
 Property Tax,
 Real Estate Tax,
 Septic Permit Tax,
 Service Charge Taxes,
 Social Security Tax,
 Road Usage Taxes (Truckers),
Sales Taxes,
 Recreational Vehicle Tax,
 Road Toll Booth Taxes,
 School Tax,
 State Income Tax,
 State Unemployment Tax (SUTA),
Telephone federal excise tax,
Telephone federal universal service fee tax,
 Telephone federal state and
local surcharge taxes,
 Telephone minimum usage surcharge tax,
Telephone recurring and non-recurring charges tax,
 Telephone state and local tax,
 Telephone usage charge tax,
 Toll Bridge Taxes,
 Toll Tunnel Taxes,
 Traffic Fines (indirect taxation),
Trailer Registration Tax,
 Utility Taxes,
 Vehicle License Registration Tax,
 Vehicle Sales Tax,
 Watercraft Registration Tax,
 Well Permit Tax,
 Workers Compensation Tax. Whew!

Not to mention Licenses and permits, which they charge us for and then charge taxes on top of that. Aside from the usual driver license, dog and marriage license we have:
Hotel and Restaurant License, Tavern License, Retail Liquor Store License, 3.2% Beer License Beer and Wine License, Liquor-Licensed Drug Store License, Optional Premises License Arts License, Bed and Breakfast Permits, Brew Pub License, Club License, Delivery Permit, Racetrack License, Public Transportation System License, Mini Bar Permits, Retail Gaming Tavern License.

And trust me, the list goes on. Even the Mafia could never be so creative.

In the sixties and seventies we congregated en masse to burn our draft cards and protest an unjust war, which was instigated by the false flag Gulf of Tonkin incident. After about a decade, it worked.

Today we have false flag incidents every few months and though many of us can see them for what they are, many people are blind, deaf and dumb. It’s that, that I hope to address with a march on Washington.

I propose that at the Plethora of Patriots Parade we gather to air our grievances in a day-long show of solidarity. There can be as many speakers as seems fitting and stations where people can sign oaths to ignore and cease to abide by government’s edicts and stop buying licenses and paying taxes. Also there will be burning stations for consigning licenses of various types to the flames.

At a predetermined hour the multitude will turn their backs as one on the capital building in a symbolic shun and after an hour of silence, just walk away.

Now, I am no organizer, but there are people out there that have a talent for it. I saw it in the sixties and some of these people were so good you’d get behind them in an instant. I’m sure there are many out there still.

So, if this sounds like a good idea, pass this along and see if we can get bring it to fruition, because God knows we’ve got to do something proactive and do it soon.

If you like the idea, please share it

I remember what the protests did to the military. It made an enemy of us to the public. My tramas were not from combat overseas, but the combat at home. It has only been in the last few years that I’ve begun to overcome the stigma laid on me back then and I still fight it today. It led to says like; “We are the unwilling, led by the unqualified, to do the unnecessary, for the ungrateful.” Then they had the audacity to claim that the majority of people respected the military. All I saw were the haters until recent years. No, I won’t do to others what they have done to me. Count me out!!

  • That was from the ignorance and intolerance of that era. I never felt that way. I had too many lost friends to not see the sacrifice. Also, it was only a foolish radical few who really felt that way. This protest is directed at the source where it belongs. It flies in the faces of exactly the people that create unjust wars. But more importantly, the bureaucratic machine that sent our boys away to die and be traumatized and then denied them proper treatment upon their return.
