Butterfly Gif Tutorial

Hello guys!
Decided to repost this Gif Tutorial here:)

It shows how to create a butterfly in just a few steps.

I created it in CorelDRAW, using PenTool (F5) to draw all the shapes; and Intersection Option to make shades and highlights (select 2 objects, which you want to intersect, apply Intersect, and here you are:) ).

I hope this will be interesting and useful for you:)

Join me at the Juried Invitational Exhibition…

I am very excited to have my art selected, from over 35,000 works of art, to exhibit in SoJie 4. SoJie 4 takes its name from the Solo Exhibition group’s Juried Invitational Exhibition. This month is only the 4th one, ever, and 55 other artists, besides myself, are represented.

Winners of the invitational will be announced on June 30th, when a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded in three categories: digital art, photography, and traditional art.

Non members, as well as members, ARE welcome to view all of the work nominated. So I hope that you will click the show banner, above, and follow the link to view my fellow exhibitors. The works are shown…

Vector tutorial: DANDELIONS

The summer dandelions was created in CorelDRAW.
Difficulty: easy, for beginners.
Main tools: FreeHandTool (F5), Banner Shapes.

Step 1.
Chose a Star in Banner Shapes:

Step 2.
Right click of the mouse: Convert to Curves:

Step 3.
-Chose the PaleYellow colour for the Star,
-Remove Hairline,
-Making Curves out of straight lines (right click: to Curve)

Step 4.
-Use FreeHandTool to draw a brown stipe

Step 5.
-Group the objects;
-Multiply the groupped object (Ctrl+C → Ctrl+V);
-Place multiplied objects in a circle with a stipe to the certre.

Step 6.
-Draw the stipe of the dandelion;
-I used the followong gradient to colour it:

Step 7.
-Copy dandelions and paste them in an order you like;
-Add blue background!

That is it:)

Vector tutorial: Girl's Portrait

Here is my vector tutorial in English, as I promised:)

The girl’s portrait was created in CorelDRAW.
Difficulty: easy, for beginners.
Main tools: FreeHandTool (F5), Ellipse Tool (F7), Rectangle Tool (F6).
Effects: Intersect and Back MInus Front.

Step 1:

-draw the shape of the face with FreeHandTool (1);
-to devide the left part of the face from the right part, draw the shape of the profile (2);
-intersect two objects (2);
-change slightly the colour of the intesected part of the face (3).

Step 2:
The eyes.

-draw the shape of an eye with FreeHandTool (1);
-draw the same shape but slight smaller (2);
-draw an oval; intersect the oval with the second shape; change the colour of the intersected object into green (3);
