Artist's Description

The sight of a tiny tot playing on an ancient 16th century tombstone in St Pee, France, stirred all kinds of philosopical musings as I thought of the biblical phrase “number thy days” – Life is short, so make the most of it. Which causes me to wonder if Mozart knew he would live only 30 some years and if that explains his prodigious output in beautiful music…..
