I am retired and now have more time to devote to photography, a serious hobby I have enjoyed most of my life. I enjoy street journalism, watching people and recording their idiosyncracies, their diverse ways of behaving in off-guarded moments. In my photography, I try to capture the unusual moment which stretches beyond the convential and causes one to ask questions or be surprised. Photography as art must always do that: cause one to wonder, to be surprised and ask questions about the meaning of things and events that are happening around us. I do very little digital manipulation in the belief that nature is sufficiently capable to do the above if we have eyes to see, without the intervention of our technical wizardry.
