Kaleidoscope made in PSP from a detail photograph of the embroidered court tunic of Joseph Chamberlain.
Joseph Chamberlain (8 July 1836 – 2 July 1914) was a British politician and statesman. Unlike most major politicians of the time, he was a self-made businessman and had not attended either Oxford or Cambridge university. He made his career in Birmingham, first as a manufacturer of screws and then as a notable Mayor and eventually MP for the city . He was the father, by different marriages, of Sir Austen Chamberlain and Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain.
