Anger/Confusion

Sorry if this may seem a bit harsh at some parts but when you’re angry YOU’RE ANGRY regardless. Its good to just let it out sometimes.

This is a response to some news from a few days ago. I had no idea that my own mother wanted to end her life. These events took place while I was at work. So you can imagine my frustration of not being there when she needed me the most.

Anger/Confusion belongs to the following groups:

Life is a bitch sometimes, this I understand
But wanting to abandon me before forever comes, is less than I can withstand
Then call me selfish but your selfish for not confessing
That it had become this serious when I continued, in our ways, believing

I know it hurts
It’s like blood from a cut when it bursts
To have been abandoned by the one you once loved
And be made to feel your worst
By those who were supposed to help and care for you most

But wanting to kill your life
To end all struggle and unbind you from your strife?
How could you think that, mother?
Am I to blame, am I a bother?

“I’m the unhappiest woman in the world!” is what you claim
And I sit back, cross arms, and watch in disdain
And think “Oh God, forgive me, but this woman is disregarding the suffering of others
. . .

LOOK AT ME,
LOOK AT ME,
YOUR FAMILY SUFFERS!!

. . .

The anger consumes me as her sadness consumes her own soul
Like fire spreading throughout the whole
of my body, burning the tiniest hairs above my maple skin
I’m confused, as are you, with this frustration within

But mother, I love you, isn’t that enough
To get through our dark troubles and remain ever tough?
Don’t say you’re done with, you can’t take no more
‘Cause I’m right here beside you, ready to pull you out of the evil aching sore

It nibbles at your ankles
Trying to convince you to quit the battles
We’ve fought since the beginning of my memory
So, please, if you wish to abandon something, let it be your misery

. . .

To reach serenity

. . .

Within the family

. . .

In its entirety

. . .

Mother, I too, am lonely…
