Music composition and art photography are the main ways I express my creativity.

I have been taking photographs for many years. Since 2005 cell phones helped me to develop a different creative approach.

The image quality of cell phone pictures cannot begin to match that of reflex cameras. However this limitation has encouraged me to explore a new creative language, one that is less dependent on the search for technical perfection and more adapted to roaming.

Nature and urban scenes inspire me most. I like to question the ambivalence of reality in beings and things. I like to shake up the usual points of reference, allowing hidden beauty and meaning to appear.

I usually play with different elements such as framing, perspective, unusual shooting angles, altered perception, movement, contrasts, light and reflections. I try to capture the sensual expression of materials and the rhythm of forms in natural or man-made landscapes.

Roaming through a cosmopolitan city like Paris gives me the opportunity to take a detached look at today’s world. My photographs and compositions reflect the eclectic and dynamic life of the city; this mélange of contradictory hopes, promises, ambitions, and its result: frenzy, infuriation or weariness.

I like to confront truths and lies, arrogant statements and strange enigmas. Debunk and combine meaningful elements found in urban design, advertisement and shop windows. And invite the onlooker to feel the pulse of busy areas and peaceful spots.

By using my shots as a raw material to manipulate, I also create other abstract, surrealistic compositions that play with reality and fantasy.
