What’s not to love about the unsoiled feet of a newborn baby? So small and soft, with 4 toes all pretty much the same size so that at a glance it almost looks like there are 6 toes there (well, it did to me).
People get them cast in plaster and brass, these fat little baby feet that look like they’ve been stung by bees and puffed up to a silly size.
Yet to walk, yet to touch the floor, yet to step on a nail or piece of broken glass or three-corner-jack.
