Red Tail by Janette Dengo

I had the priviledge to snap this photo, up close about 2 feet away with my Dikon D80 and Sigma 28-300 mm lens, at our local Paris Fair this late summer. I uploaded it to Photoshop and did very minor adjustment to contrast. It was taken at the birds of prey show and I think these birds are phenomenal and beautiful.
The red tail hawk is one of the most fantastic and magnificent creatures. We’d love to have this for our provincial bird here in Ontario, Canada… rather then the loon which is in fact a pray rather then predator.
