Pick me - Pick me by Janette Dengo
I loved the way the stamens protruded out of the flowers as if they were saying pick me – pick me!! The beautiful “summer wine” shrub makes a wonderful addition to our garden. Flower clusters for this shrub are very tight and the actual florets are very tiny. It was interesting to examine them under the macro lens to see how beautiful they truly are.

lol… I just couldn’t stop smiling when I was snapping these. It was hard to focus on all at the same time… at the moment I felt like they were all saying pick me-pick me, so I just went with it.
