I took this photo in the late evening/night while driving through a small town not too far from Brantford, Ontario, Canada. I fell in love with the colours while I felt a strong pull towards the feelling of light within the image. The words “Let there be light” came to mind when I was snapping this and it was so true. I stood there in the pitch blackness while the only thing lit on the entire block was this beautiful lit up church window.

It made me feel wonderful, while I sensed a purpose to mankind & connecting to the universe. The colourful lights left me mesmerized by the beauty of the lit up glass and workmanship of who ever built it. I rested my camera on the hood of the vehicle to stabilize the focus and give my camera the extended exposure needed without any shaking. I was pleased with the result after few shots.

I feel this piece represents the connection of the people in the world and the universe. It repersents faith, peace and love. Thank you for stopping by to view my work.
