This piece, which is very special to me, represents a woman kneeling over a grave of a loved one. It was taken in Paris, Ontario at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
As always I’m aware of the work I post in relation to the mood and day I’m having and this piece titled FAITH is something I feel is needed today.

I love the lighting, angle and placement on the page! Was it in the cemetary or church? I’m doing a series on Mother Mary’s and how they are displayed. I love sculpture and truly admire those that can make a statue such as this. Thank you for recording it so well! Do you know the artists’ name?
It was full day with bright sunshine. I did some digital alteration with colours only to gove it this effect. Surrounded by green plants and cars in the background, the statue wasn’t lost but the title was. I took the shot at a cemetary where my husbands mom is burried. I fell in love with it long ago, and I wish I knew the artists name. When I go back there I’ll be sure to study it much deeper to find some info on it. Thank you for your input, greatly valued.
