He’ll Never Be Me

He’ll Never Be Me

You can tell him you love him
It will not mean nothing,
You can give him it all,
You can give him your world but I know your bluffing.

You can kiss him,
You can hug him,
You can spend all day with him,
But it will only bug him.

Some girls chose control,
Some girls chose love,
Some girls are crazy,
But girl you a cut above.

You call him your boy,
He’ll call you his girl,
But answer me this,
Would he do this would he appreciate your every curl?

I can picture you.
Doing the same things you did with me,
But I got to tell it to you like this,
There will never be another me.

He can be your king,
You can give him the crown,
Who will you run to you?
After he puts you down!

You can say you love him,
You can say you love him,
You can say you love him,
But no matter how bad you kid your self,
He’ll never ever be me.

An angry love poem expressing the feelings of angst to a former girlfriend who doesn’t love her boyfriend anymore.

I have been interested in writing from a very young age and started to look at it in terms of a career at about 19 years old. On this creative journey that I am on I have written one collection called ” A Place Called School” This is a poetry book inspired by the harsh realities I faced being one of very few students in a school with Albinism.
