Hey there! Im Xavier. Im from Santiago, Chile (SouthAmerica).

I study Medicine. Yeah, I want to be a doctor, a great one. I believe in helping people and I just love how the human body works. I do not believe in god, but when I see something this perfect, I cant stop thinking that maybe there is magic in the world.

So this is where photography comes in the picture. I dont care about fame, I dont care about money. I care about being able to record something forever. I take pictures cause I love the feeling of being able to save and capture the magic of the world. This why im not a big fan of photo-manipulation; cause defects are part of beauty.

I also love photography (and things like writing, playing music, etc) cause inspiration & creativity are such an important and essential part of life. I just discovered that art is one of the few completely free things you can do. As i said in my journal: Art has no rules, Art has no boundaries, Art has no Judges.

I really wish to become a Pro, to make photography a big part of my life, but sometimes its really hard to find time for all of this. Anyway, I joined RedBubble to proof myself. My goal is to save 1000 US dollars, only from my photographs. If im able to do that, i’ll use the money to pay for a course at the New Yorks Institute of Photography, if not, i guess i’ll live as an amateur. Both of them are find.
