*Writing Challenge* - Journey
OK, so let’s kick off a writing challenge, just for fun. Poems, short stories or non-fiction of less than 500 words on the theme “journey”.
Add your contribution to this forum topic and as a journal entry. That way people can read them all from the one forum, as well as having the writing show up on your profile.

Aww, does it have to be just 500 words? I’ve got a bigger one up here already that fits the theme.

Our writers’ group usually sets the limit at around 500 words as it is about a page. But it is very hard for some of our members to stop at around 500 words!
We do something similar to this, i.e., set a topic or writing form as a monthly assignment. I will let them all know about this great “writing challenge” idea. Thanks, Michelle

No hard deadline – newcomers to RB can always add their stories later. But to keep it lively with existing writers, how about we aim for end of July.
As for word limit, we live in a world of short attention spans. Nice short micro-stories are more likely to be read.
