This is Bieb is-Sultan, meaning The Sultan’s Gate. It leads to the fertile valley of Lunzjata in Gozo, sister island of Malta. It was built by the Knights of Malta in the 17th century and its a protected site. This gate is situated next to the village of Kercem, where archaeological discoveries show that the area was inhabited as early as 4500BC. Roman Baths and an early Christian cemetery were also found in the area.
In this image I tried to simulate some of the HDR effects on PS, without doing any HDR. Whether I succeeded or not I leave it to the viewer.
