Notre Dame Cathedral by the river La Seine in Paris, was completed in 1345. In 1430, Henri VI of England was crowned here. And in the same year Mary Stuart becomes Queen of France after her marriage to François II, and is also crowned in the cathedral. The last crowning in Notre Dame was in 1804 when Napoléon crowned himself Emperor.
The banks of La Seine are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
