Fascinating the brickwork is really weird, viewed larger image, has the brickwork started to erode? brilliant interesting image.

Fantastic capture and imagery, wonderful stonework and glorious visuals, perhaps if someone was to leave the big gate open, the little gate stops someone or something from coming out. haha. hugs

Great textures, and wonderful colours …

Thanks, Squelia. The wall is built with limestone slabs quarried locally. The funny patterns is erosion, which can happen due to various reasons, like proximity to the sea, exposure to adverse weather conditions or just poor stone quality.

Thank you, Hilary. That is a very valid reason.

Just looked at your profile, where is locally/home? It’s a lovely area.

Great composition and presentation my friend. You’ve really captured this well. Alex the door is for keeping people or animals out, the gate is for keeping young children or animals in!. (Of course, once the door is open – I’ve just seen Hilary’s comment after I had already wrote mine.)

LOL … Thanks, Tony. The logic is so obvious I must have been blind not to see it.
