Puzzled

Such beauty and such tragedy in our world.

Puzzled belongs to the following groups:

Complex Simplicity of Art, Childhood, Realist Traditional Art, Rivers and Streams, Street Photography and Photojournalism and The Eyes Have It

This old world of ours
makes me very puzzled
Full of trees and flowers
and with people muzzled

Look at Tibet and cry
look at the kids in Sudan
Then look at the birds that fly
and sob at the plight of man

Some people pass by me
happy, no thought of giving
But night holds sights to see
of street kids barely living

Riches and poverty
spotlessly filled with filth
Hunger is no novelty
to babes with no mother’s milk

How do we solve this mess
how do we help the poor
Perhaps by taking less
perhaps by giving more.

this is wonderful Beth, yes the world is so sad at times makes you ashamed to be called humans. All anyone can do is help the best that each person can, if enough of us voice this concern of our world sooner or later all will have the same voice, well done this is great Dawnx
