Between Christmas Eve and Morn
Finally….....finally…......the gifts are wrapped, the children are home and asleep and it is quiet. I have a few moments to myself now, to sip a glass of wine, reflect on Christmases past and future – those I love not with me; time to shed a tear of I don’t know what—relief, joy, sadness, all of it is on me now but soon I will sleep too.
