1939 Garwood runabout docked at its boathouse on the Torch River, just off Torch Lake in Northern Michigan. National Geographic once rated Torch Lake the 3rd most beautiful lake in the world. Standard power in these boats was a Chrysler inboard marine. This one has the Garwood/Gray racing engine. It was beautifully restored and has been in the same family since new. The boathouse was custom built to house the boat.
