The rise of mega-parks and the high cost of liability insurance have contributed to the demise of small town carnivals which are rapidly disappearing. Whenever possible i try to document this vanishing icon of the Twentieth Century American landscape.
I used PhotoShop, then Illustrator, then back to PhotoShop, and finally back to Illustrator to create a complicated vector with a reasonable file size. Vectors are cool because they can be blown up to any size without losing resolution— there’s no pixelization in a vector.
